November 2023:

A multidisciplinary team of WSU researchers is establishing the Barber Integrative Metabolic Research Program, thanks to an initial funding commitment of $1 million from the Barber Research Fund. The program comprises three integrated arms, led by Dr. Chris Kelly, Mindy Huang, Jim Granneman, Emilio Mottillo, Hyeong-Reh Kim, and Jian Wang.

August 2023:

Tim received the Graduate Student Travel Award at The 37th Annual Symposium of Protein Society for Fall 2023. Congrarulations Tim! 

February 2023:

Our BMP undergraduate, Neel Patel, received the offer from Michigan State University Medical School. Neel is expected to graduate in Winter 2023. No GAP year. Big congratulations Neel! Well done!

December 2022:

Mindy won the American Chemical Society’s Wiley Computers in Chemistry Outstanding Postdoc Award. Mindy will present her award-winning work at the upcoming ACS national meeting in San Diego. 

July 2019: 

Mindy's recent paper, “Brownian dynamic study of an enzyme metabolon in the TCA cycle: Substrate kinetics and channeling,” has been selected by the Protein Society as one of the best papers in Protein Science publication in 2018.
